Wedding announcement parties are a grand event to celebrate the couple-to-be. What better way to celebrate than with macarons by Marion Macarons.

Rosewater raspberry macarons are the first flavor that I thought of when asked to make macarons for a wedding announcement party. They are everyone's favorite macaron and the pink color gives an extra feminine touch.
Rosewater is added to the macaronage and gives that special flavor to the shell that tastes like a celebration in your mouth. The raspberry buttercream filling was piped in a circle and finished with a center of raspberry preserves. Mrs was written on the shell in edible ink by @bethhuntcalligraphy and provides the finishing detail. The macarons look like a party ready to happen.
What about the groom? Admittedly, he plays a very minor role in these events, but he can be celebrated with his own flavored macaron. The groom-to-be's macarons had a vanilla shell with a dark chocolate ganache filling. The macarons were finished with edible gold. The perfect manly man macaron.
The food was placed on the dining room table which was decorated with William Yeoward crystal and Mary Rose Young pottery lent by the hostesses. The crystal and pottery were filled with peonies from Oxford Floral.
A side table was the perfect setting for the heart-shaped cookies, hydrangeas, and the macarons.
Mother of the bride-to-be and a friend checking out and then tasting the rosewater raspberry macarons. It looks like the macarons are a hit. The macarons were a party favorite.
The bride-to-be was delighted with the party. Her smile makes the effort worth-while.
The Italian meringue method was used to make the macarons shells and the buttercream. The basic recipes in the Bouchon Bakery cookbook are followed as a guide.
